I recently called code services on the apartment I live at (for many reasons) and the code services have mailed (to me, so I’m assuming to my rental agency as well) that they have 30 days to fix the myriad of issues brought up.
Previous times, (I even talked with my neighbor about this) and maintenance has been known to stop by without giving any prior warning. Now, I’ve put in a work request before, but it took more than 48 hours for maintenance to finally stop by.
Am I out of line to let them know my schedule for when I’m home, and tell them I do not want maintenance entering the unit unless I’m home? It’s not a hectic schedule, but there are days when I’m not home at all, then spring break I’m not going to be home at all…
